Hi guys, My 1990 4Runner is stuck in 4wd. It has the A.D.D system so I just push a button on the shifter to engage 4wd. I have tried everything to sort it out but had no luck. I have checked the vacuum lines for cracks, cleaned all the electrical connections and tested they all have 12v...

Picked the car up after getting the diff repaired. Diff was stripped, acid dipped, brackets strengthened and re- welded. Hopefully it doesn't break now!

Will I broke the bracket off my diff AGAIN! Its now getting the diff stripped completely and the brackets re welded and strengthened so it doesn't happen again :irked:

So I scored a rear bar with tyre carrier on Ebay and the seller told me it would fit my 1990 4Runner. It turns out it is off a 1984 to 1988 4Runner. It looks like the mounting brackets are around 30mm wider apart than my current towbar. Has anyone fitted a rear bar from an earlier model...

Stoked! I have been looking for a LONG time but I finally found a Kaymar rear bar and tyre carrier. It will sort out any issues with the panhard rubbing on the 33" spare in it's current position. It will look the goods too!

Did you click on the link to see the recovery hitch? I'm not sure what you mean then as the only thing that's in the towbar hitch is the recovery point with the shackle removed.
