So I scored a rear bar with tyre carrier on Ebay and the seller told me it would fit my 1990 4Runner.
It turns out it is off a 1984 to 1988 4Runner.
It looks like the mounting brackets are around 30mm wider apart than my current towbar.
Has anyone fitted a rear bar from an earlier model?
What did you do to make it fit?
