(If I'm remembering correctly) that's because the blue multi-function was only available on the 2014 models. Up until 2013 it was orange, and then they discontinued it entirely with the 2015 models.
I put it on around 8k miles. The suspension kit is part number PTR13-35140. It's actually the TRD kit for the FJ, but it fits nicely on the 4Runner. The problem, though, is that you'll be lucky to find it anywhere - the set is discontinued. I got it for ~$500, but if you find one these days...
Did the swap today. Haven't done enough driving to notice a difference yet, but I'm sure that'll change sooner than later. Now gotta go find a good spot to realign the headlights....
Not just the TRD-OR....ALL trim levels have the smoked lenses (at least since 2015). So, either they're doing god-knows-what to the tail lights, or they're charging extra for a standard feature.
Either way, F the hell out of that "blackout package" and it's price. Nuts.
These guys show it in stock if you search for the part number on the site. You could also try calling up dealers in your area to see if they have any in stock at that price (longshot at best).
