Just got done watching the vid and oh my!. That is a seriously intense amount of work to get to the issue thats way above anything I've ever attempted to do before. I'm hoping the 4runner is less involved than the cruiser due to fact that mine is a basic sr5 without all the bells and whistles...

I've got a strange issue with my ac blowing cool air from the two pass side dash vents and hot from the driver side vents. Does anyone have any ideas about why? It just happened and I didn't have time to check under the hood, the compressor seems to be engaging, the rpm increases and cool air...

Thanks guys for the responces. It is just a thought to either install the early one or refurbish the existing bumper that's not really in bad shape. I've owned this 99 for about 5 years and after all the time and $ invested in getting it to being a pretty good example of what a 3rd gen should be...

Did the searches without any specific answers. Has anyone ever installed a 96-98 front bumper on a 99-02 (fat lip)? If so is there a list of all parts needed to do it? To me it looks like bracketry is different. Just my opinion but I like the old style one better. The pic shows it as of today...

I do understand that there is quite a bit of frame rust but with 147000 it would make a good parts truck. Everything works (engine, trans&transfer electrical system) and with a good cleaning the interior could be perfect. Make an offer.
