Thanks for the reply. Yeah I recently saw a couple 4th gen V8s not thinking much of it, maybe they're still for sale around. They were good deals, too, from what I could tell, probably because people don't want V8's or think they're gas guzzlers.

Thanks for the quick replies. I'm not "as" worried anymore. Not sure I want to invest in scanguage when I could do some other things with that money - like get a new radiator or do a transmission flush.

I don't have a scanguage; I just felt the tranny cooler and it was too hot to touch. That's obviously not a very objective measurement, but was wondering what others felt about that as a "gauge." Should it be too hot to touch or is that a bad thing? I haven't seen anyone talking about this...
