Opinions on this 2011 SR5?

I currently have an 02 SR5 with close to 200k. It drives fantastic but I am ready to upgrade to something fresher/newer looking. Found this 2011 at a local dealership that keeps dropping in price in their "value" inventory. Other than the CarGurus "great value" rating I am not very well versed in what else I should be looking for. I'm not stoked about the color, but it's not super high on my priority list, so I could be fine with it.

Well I only took a couples seconds but the only "jump out at me" items were the front calipers appear painted and there is a dent in rear bumper, drivers side. Neither of these are big deals just there, I have no idea what the going rate on that mileage, year, trim of 4runner is but that's easy for you to look up. As far as what to watch out for, there isn't anything I can think of that's a common/known issue but maybe check the TSB's.

I have to be honest though, I would scourer the world for a V8 4th gen with low mileage and then spend a couple grand on upgrades and I think the value would be better then that 5th gen

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I recently saw a couple 4th gen V8s not thinking much of it, maybe they're still for sale around. They were good deals, too, from what I could tell, probably because people don't want V8's or think they're gas guzzlers.

I recently traded in my 2011 SR5 2WD, with Leather/Sunroof, with exactly 100,065 miles on it. The Toyota dealership gave me $20k for it, and they have it listed for $23k!

for the price, this looks like a good deal, plus seems to have good maintenance history, at the same dealership.

I love my 2011! I paid (am still paying) more for mine, but I bought mine last year with only 38k on the clock. With 94K on it, I'd just check underneath for excessive rust.

I would rather have a v8, but like the look of the 5th gen over the 4th.
