I know you're right. No way to know EXACTLY when. But I was hoping there was an "average" life span on them.

If I were the one driving it or if she where less than a 4 hour drive, that's what I'd do. But that's not the case. Should I expect those parts to last to 150k, 175k , or even 200k miles?

Not just Dallas. There are quite a few here in east Texas, which is amazing considering my neariest dealer is 50 miles.

If you're only going a mile or two, maybe. Otherwise it seems like exhaust fumes would be a real problem. But, maybe now since the window rolls down anyway. Maybe do a test run and let us know how it works out!
