No you are not crazy in can be done advance adapters makes the adapters and motor mounts to do the swap the ones i have done i put the chevy motor and trans and got the and got the adapters to run the yota t-case they work very nice as for the clearance problems u take the fan off the motor and...
I would'nt change anything. I would tell them it is there mistake and to take it to court i am sure they would just leave it at that i had this happen to me at a chevy dealer before and they just ended up eating there mistake let they are just trying to scare u to get u to pay it so they do...
