Thanks for your reply. It's ok if it is late or not :) I was going to fix the smell at my local dealer (Regency Toyo) but they told me that is only for the "US cars." Yeah Right! Liers! It seems that this problem (sulfur smell) keep coming up with dealer fixes. So I have decided not to fix it.

After looking at the Toyota wiring diagram and searching this forum, there was no mentioning of a mute wire on non- JBL stereo system (6 speaker, single disk). If you have a JBL with 10 speakers, you have to find the red and white wire (R1) pin7 from your stereo. But there is no mute wire for...

What is the main difference between the 850 and 1000? I just bought 850 but ,maybe upgrade to 1000. Also because you had 2 different models, are all the plugs (mic, controller, speakers) same except the main box(a bluebox on ihf1000) Thank you in advance

I changed mine with Scion radio and it did not work. But your your case, I think it is a same unit so it will work. Please post the answer when you find out.
