I have tested thermostat anf it works, but when it is installed on the engine, it does not open. any idea about that?

I have tested thermostat, it works, new water pump, radiator checked and its good, radiator fan works, radiator cap changed. no oil in water and no water in engine oil. compression in all cylinder is the same and are good. still when thermostat is installed water temp goes high. can it be water...

when I put on new thermostat and turn on the engine, water temp goes high, to the almost red. hose on the top of the radiator is too hot and the hose on the bottom is cold. so I did not want to have more problems, tunr off engine and now I drive without thermostat.

3rd gen overheating Hello I have the same issue right now. overheating. thermostat, water pump, radiator cap changed. beacuse of overheating, I drained and filled several times, but still does the same. it seems that thermostat does not open. what could be the reason?
