Just wanted to bump this topic again... same thing happened to me as it did everyone else on the thread (at 135k miles). Panicked at first, then came here and did 2 minutes of searching. A quick Google led me to a replacement part at my local O'Reilly's... $16 and 5 min later, my AC was back...
