i was thinking of doing a spring over axle and the steering. Alot of my friends run 8" lifts and run 36" boggers. Is that adiquit?

I've been told by fellow 4x4'n friends to go find an 85' 4runner. I'm not sure if they're soild axle so I'm asking you folks. If they are, what type of lift kits are out there for them? I'm looking to run 35x10.5x__? Reasoning for the underscore is I'm not familar with toyota bolt patterns/rim...
