My experience with the same Rough Country 3" lift was I got closer to 4" lift on the rear and only about 2.5" on the front. I have since traded that truck, but have another I will lift after I get the new engine installed. I plan to install just the front 3" spacers and then see what it needs...

Anybody ever changed out the sunroof motor in your gen 3? Did you have to completely remove the headliner or could you just let the front droop down enough to get to it?

When it does this, is there pressure in the fuel tank when you unscrew the cap? My fj80 was acting similar and it turned out to be the 25 year old vapor canister.

A running, rust free limited with e-locker for $500? I just thought I got a good deal on mine. You should also buy a lotto ticket.

My '92 fj80 did something similar when I got it. It was apparently just 20+ years of wear on the original key. I went to the Toyota dealership and had them cut a new key from the VIN. Problem solved.

Where you at in TN? I'm a little southeast of Jackson. I just got my first 4Runner last week. Actually two of them, '97 SR5 and '98 Limited w/factory e-locker.
