Thought it might be a TPS, but when you unplug it, the idle increases like it should.

It almost sounds as if there is an exhaust leak around the egr valve (ticking and air moving sound) but there isn't one. The sound is only there at idle, rev it up the engine will rev up, and the exhaust leak sound goes away (might be because I just can't hear it anymore over engine noise)...

No new codes, the light remains off. I unplugged the battery, to reset codes. Is there another step to reset the ecu?
