I'm answering my own question =). I found the info on youtube in an IPT Performance transmission video on replacing the valve body on an A750F tranny, about 10 mins. into the video. Torque 80 in/lbs. No torque sequence mentioned. There are two bolts obscured by a bracket.

I'm just changing the fluid in the transmission and came across in a search that you should re-torque the bolts before reinstalling the filter. It mentioned the valve body gasket shrinking over time , then the bolts loosen and fluid can escape to other parts of the valve body instead of where...

Has anybody seen a write up on this? I've done some searching bot could not find anything. Looking for sequence , torque etc. Thanks

Here is a far as I got. I'm using OBD Fusion with the Veepeak Mini OBD II scanner. The Trans temp gauge is there but I don't get a reading except for 0deg. All the other Dasboard gauges work. I have a 2014 4Runner . Any suggestions anyone?

I already have OBD fusion on my iphone and it works well with my other cars. How do you get the enhanced Toyota add on that will read transmission temps? Thanks

I really expecting to find rocker arms knocking but now I see how it works. I had to get it back together to head to work. I did not check any shim gaps but I did trn it over with the cover off. The only thing found out of the ordinary was a few shavings back by the #6 farthest back...

The problem is this is my teenage daughter's vehicle and it is never in the driveway. On fri. I have been informed that I have an 1.5 hr to pull the valve cover and get it back together, maybe I'm too old for this sight, lol.:drummer:

Yes you are right i just need to take the valve cover off, this knock came on slowly and my daughter complained of dogeshness. I happen to own an x5 and two early ix's do you know what tool it is?

Take the hoses off the heater core and back flush that by it self

I can't get them off and now the flare nut wrench has stipped the nuts. Is there too much fuel psi to run rubber hoses here and cut the metal pipe? Anybody have any tips to get these off ?
