GX470s are really expensive, but they're really nice. I shyed away from them because I wanted a reliable daily driver and they had too many things to worry about at 10+ years old like the airbag suspensions.

+1 the beam pattern is everything. You're way better off with crappy output and a good focused pattern than a really bright bulb that just dissipates it everywhere.
