well I have looked all under the T4R and can find no possible place for another harness to hook in. Can anyone tell me if the 4WD harness is part of the frame wire?? or the motor... I would think the frame and it appears that is how it is shown in the FSM.. if not I might have to rig a switch...

are you saying that the number of wires at the connector on the window motor and the lock actuator are greater than the number than your 97 wiring harness? If i have that straight have you pulled your passenger door panel off to see how its wired to each switch? or if you can read schematics...

Gents just got me a 96 for a steal with the locking rear diff, of course that didnt come without some issues. Like the absence of the wiring harness that will make you get a CEL P1700 and no 4WD shift lift and I am sure there are other things not working as well... my question I pose to you is...
