Love my v8 4wd. If I drive it like a teenager it gets horrible fuel mileage, but it hauls ass for a large vehicle with a small block.

Duh! I have feeling we both shoot the same matches! Someday ill pony up some cash for an SVI. I shot a steel match yesterday. On guy was running mixed range ammo thru his SV open in 9 major. The very expensive gun was not a fan!

Installed a SD-E trigger and a smaller KNS front site post. Can't wait to zero it and try it out at 300+ meters. I have a crappy vortex red dot to mount and zero for close up targets. Still want an optic, but Iam a buy once cry once person.

Pull codes. I bet you have a 2714 code for a bad solenoid. If you catch it early you could save the transmission. I just replaced mine. Fingers crossed I caught it in time. It acted exactly like what the OP posted.

Good to hear there is one dealership in DfW that doesn't suck. I am in Denton too. Mcnatt sucks balls. Iam using Jp euro in Garland to help solve a trans solenoid issue.

Trans thru code 2714 again. Had one shift to D that hung again then was fine. SOn of a Bit.....

Picked up the 4runner today. My problem was random so it's too early to tell if it's 100% fixed but so far so good. Really happy with JP Euro in Garland for the people in DFW. Best communication from a mechanic ever. Very professional.

I don't have mine back yet. I took it to a shop recommended by some guys of this forum. So far I am pleased with the communication. The shop owner isn't 100%. This will fix the issue if other parts have been compromised. He said the dealer would just replace the transmission...
