    stock FJ Cruiser TOKICO suspension

I have a 2005 V8 Sport edition and replaced the Xreas shocks (two were leaking) with the shocks/coils/springs (front and rear) off of a 2007 FJ Cruiser.....got about 3/4"-1 inch lift, more noticable in the front.......no complaints or problems with the change

Getting FJ Shocks(Tokico) and Springs 2007 FJ

I wasn't sure about doing it myself, but now I think I can do it after watching it being done. I don't know if you have "PepBoys" where you are at but that is who I had do mine. They removed my old XREAS system, disposed of all the old stuff and put on the FJ suspension then did an alignment...

Getting FJ Shocks(Tokico) and Springs 2007 FJ

I have a 2005 Sport V8 and put the same year setup on my 4Runner you have just more miles on the FJ stuff. It works well and I got about the same measurements that Doozi gave you. You'll like the change. I did it mainly to replace the leaking XREAS I had but the lift I got is nice also.

Put the rear FJ springs and shocks on today

If I remember right, I got almost 3/4's of an inch when I put the FJ springs on mine, seems like that is what I got in the rear and close to 1" in the front. My springs and shocks were off an 07 and had about 12000 miles on them.

Best all seasons for around $600 out the door?

I just bought 4 General HTS all season for $646 out the door, that was with a $40 rebate/discount that Americas Tire/Discount tire gave me. So far I like the tires. Better ride than what I had, Dunlop AT20's that were down to almost the wear indicators but were weather cracking on the side wall...

    General HTS

thanks Dave, I knew the speedo would be off I was just curious about it displaying such a difference in mpg. Guess the 1" height makes a difference with the computer. The V8 got almost 16-17mgp if I kept it below 2000 rpm's (close to 65mph) hopefully the mpg's won't change that much. I've...

    General HTS

Hey guys finally decided to replace the Dunlops on my 2005 Sport V8 with the General Grabber HTS. Went from 265 65 17 to 265 70 17's. I chose those tires because I won't be doing any off roading except for an occasional dirt/forrest road. So far the ride is smoother, handling/cornering etc is...
