With mine being oval shape going into the wall, it sits/touches the underside of the gutter for the vent. It also sit a few inches from the bottom water roll off that get in there from the vents.... So far I haven't had water in my intake box but a couple small drops.

If you replacing rear backing plates, order everything for a full replacement. Bearings, seals, parking brake pads, ect. Your going to regret not doing so. I did a regear and put axles back in, 3 months later had leaks. You dont want to have to pull all that apart 2 times, let alone having to...

Dont rule out them bushings, there Poly and they do open/oblong in due time. Pull the Uca see if the sleeve has too much slack on the bushing. Plus give you a chance to see if the bolt is bending also. Been there before.

Used JB weld stick to fill, need access to the inside also to flatten/press together. After sanding to shape outside, used the liquid type to take imperfection out. Do believe there were a couple small holes next to doors edge that I had to weld no access.

Definitely been awhile.... I pop in on occasion to see what up. Its starting to pu a bit on the forms again, people being able to get out n about. Changing employers, knocked out a regear on the rig. Envy them photos your wife was posting on your honeymoon, ect. Nice locations.

Not dead, just state got shut down last yr between fires, forestry dept closing things and the epidemic scare, nobody doing much last yr. I even have to cancel 2 trips due to above items. Now if I can get my custom length rear arms, can get out and do some stupid shit again. BTW, :wave:

Still waiting on a set lower links having made shortened. Dont feel like buying poly bushings for the Metal techs I have, they be clunking. Krister and I usually do Slick/Deer valley in a day.

I keep telling them all, lockers are over rated.
