    help deciding on xreas replacement

That’s 3” front lift and 2” rear lift using aftermarket lift springs. But you can get shorter springs with the same spring rate as the lift springs

    help deciding on xreas replacement

I can’t give any input on 5100s vs 4600s. I have the 5100s and they’ll get the job done but they’re nothing special. How the XREAS system works is it detects when there’s is body roll and sends additional fluid to that side to help counter it. There isn’t another system like that on the market...

Arkansas Toyotas We hosted a few meets for offroad Toyotas to come out and visit with other enthusiasts and see awesome trucks with all their mods and for a chance to win some discount codes, merch, and other things from our sponsor companies. It was great but life gets busy so they kind of...

Solving the Open Intake Problem In the Ozarks, there’s a lot of water crossings, especially in the spring. Some come up to the bottom of your frame rails, so can go up over your hood. There’s a reason the majority of trail rigs in the area run snorkels, although sometimes it’s only for looks...

Front End Friday When looking to buy a bumper, I always loved the idea of a tube bumper with a center skid, much like the desert style ones. Nobody offered these though and I wanted to make sure I could mount a winch and that it would hold up well to damage from deer, trees, other vehicles...

Is Bigger Better? Well when I first lifted it and put on 265/70/17s (32s), I told myself I would be happy with that settup. That I wouldn’t go over the top with it. Less than a year after mounting those, I swapped to running 285/75/17s (34x11.50) and installed a 1” body lift. My Falken...

Little by Little I also completed some smaller mods outside of general maintenance. GoGettaGrip shifter, 1” wheel spacers, ParaHandles, black headlights, cheap looking roof basket, plasti-dip, tint, radio and speakers, and drawer system. I think by far the best thing I have ever done to my...

Maintenance is Key I have spent a lot of time completing maintenance on this thing. I try to keep up but I also drive a self/ -proclaimed sh*tbox. Just some of the things I have completed maintenance wise are engine fan, suspension bushings, balljoints, tie rods, brakes, fluids, wheel bearings...

Wheeling? What’s That? After developing a social network with other Toyota and offroad people, I was eventually invited to go to Lonestar Toyota Jamboree by some people local to my area. Rushingman (4R), Nathan (Taco), and I began our five hour trip as basically total strangers and returned...

Just a Taste of Mods My first year in college, I saw a lifted 4th gen for the first time. No armor, no lights, or roof rack. Just a clean lifted 4Runner on upsized tires (probably 33s). At first, I decided to only have a front leveling spacer put in to raise the front up some (first pic). Then...

The Origins of the Build Once upon a time, I bought a 2003 Toyota 4Runner Sport in the flavor of V8 and 2WD. It was my first car at 15 years old and I ironically hated it at first. The only thing I could think about was how much of a mom car it was…and now here we are eight years later with...

    285/75R17 Question...yes 75 not 70...

Yes 285/75/17 I like my Falken AT3W 285/75/17s. I went with the for the reason of taller without being wider. I had to cut a ton to fit them though with my 3” lift. After I added the 1” body lift I was fine though
