I live in Bend Oregon and talked to the guy personally. He quoted me $17k to do the install and he had the half-cut sitting right there. (i know I'm responding to a 3 year old post, but I figured it's relevant since I've spoken to the guy face to face recently)

I'm from the east coast and live in Oregon now (rust free state). So, I've dealt with rusty rides my whole life. I wouldn't bother with that truck. Move on....

I got calipers, rotors, pads from a wrecked 01' Tundra. I heard the '01 was compatible with it's 199mm's and no grinding necessary. I think they changed the design in 2002 for the tundra, so I can't vouch for compatibility from any other year. The 2001 199mm calipers are straight bolt on...

I just bought 199's to totally avoid the grinding issue. Not worth it to me.

Great advice. I started looking into this and found an app where you can use maps offline. It's called "PDF Maps." I'll try to find the paper maps too.
