    Swaybar diameter Gen 6

Hello, Does anyone know if the Gen 6 all have the same diameter swaybars or do the versions with the swaybar disconnect option have a larger diameter swaybars installed (like the KDSS version used to have) offering better on road and offroad handling? Thank you

    4runner Limited horrible onroad manners

I get your point but I am old school. You get a loan for a house or an education but get a toy you can afford. Anyways, to each their own.

    4runner Limited horrible onroad manners

I was not talking ground clearance, pure mechanics, electronics and design of the AWD system. Any AWD system that has 1 wheel losing traction and gets stuck, even with a locked transfer case, is not worth a dime to me. Believe me, if the Highlander had a decent system, I would be all over it...

    4runner Limited horrible onroad manners

If only it had a decent AWD system like the Lexus IS and GS. As it stands, its nothing more than a marketing gimmick. Reference: YouTube I am sorry, but I cant see myself spending money on this. My Beemer X drive is 100x better than this.

    4runner Limited horrible onroad manners

You are probably right. And no...

    4runner Limited horrible onroad manners

Hello all, I am new here and every time I am due for a new car I find myself eyeballing the 4runner and every time I test drive one I run away. Why do I want a 4runner? Purpose, snow and fire roads combined with reliability. For that reason the Limited seems to be the best option. I like the...

Hello all, KDSS vs beefed up sway bar question

I understand that a heavier swaybar will limit suspension travel but as I mentioned, gravel roads and snow will be my main use. Therefor I would be willing to give up some suspension travel for the benefits of a beefed up swaybar. In fact, KDSS will limit suspension travel at any speed above 12...

Hello all, KDSS vs beefed up sway bar question

Hello and thank you for all the information you all are sharing here. I am looking into a new 4runner. I have so far test driven an Limited and a Trail, the latter both with and without KDSS. I was disappointed with the on road handling of all except for the KDSS equipped Trail version. I will...
