Mud is a whole different animal compared to the overlanding crowd where most 4Runners are seen.

Ive never had a problem with p rated tires. Having said that more ply obviously better. But a long nail or long narrow sharp rock is gonna go through 4ply or 10 ply if hit right anyway.

It’s one of those things I want for the 4runner but I have a long list of wants ha You should definitely get them though. It may push me over the edge to get them to. Ive seen them on some old land cruisers and the look really good.

I never ordered any. Was hoping to see someone else get them first.

I’m from the south where we don’t have a whole lot of sharp rocks. I do go hunting in Wyoming most years and have done most of the alpine loop and Imogene and most of the lower rated trails in Colorado and never had an issue on P rated tires. Maybe I’m lucky. Most punctures I see that happen...

My in laws buy a vehicle completely on how many and how the cup holders are laid out. Apparently the new ford explore won out this time.

I have both. Main thing to me is wild peaks are louder after about 20k on them and ko2 are not that great in the rain.

There not as full as they used to be but my local toyota dealer seems to have more than most.
