Out of curiosity was it like this when the tires were new or after you had them for a while?
its luck of the draw, all heavy tires have a chance of balancing issues, whether its BFG, fallen, yoko's, nitto, etc.

I was trying to find out when he noticed it.its luck of the draw, all heavy tires have a chance of balancing issues, whether its BFG, fallen, yoko's, nitto, etc.
This is a common decision to make - I picked Wildpeak and have not turned back. I'm in Southern California and drive a 13 Trail 4Runner as my daily. I spend 3-5 weeks/year overlanding - Southern Utah, North Rim Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Eastern Sierra (great fly fishing), Death Valley, Anza Borrego, etc. Mainly hiking and fishing. Not much mud or wet conditions.
I have aired down to 15psi to crawl over some difficult sections, mostly on BLM land although the national park land 'roads' are generally worse. The thinner sidewalls have not let me down.
Since nobody is using both tires (same size/rating/vehicle) in the same places and times and comparing directly its impossible to compare. For the conditions that I travel in I've had a great experience with them. They have good on road performance and have not let me down off road across 3-4 trips/year for 6 years now (on my 2nd set.)
Note - I used different tires on my 84 Toy truck that was set-up for crawling. I was usually looking for the most challenging obstacles and usually broke something. 10-12 psi,LT tires with better traction. I would not be using Wildpeaks for this application.
Note -I use to run th e
I don’t know why people keep saying the KO2s don’t handle well in wet weather. I’ve owned 4 sets in the last 20 years and never had a problem and they drive great on the road.Good to know. I’m in NV and will be mostly desert roads like Death Valley and have been debating between KO2 in C load vs Wildpeak P load.
With all the rocks here was leaning towards KO2 due to stronger side wall but kinda like the better daily driver on-road and wet handling of the Wildpeaks.
Seems like your P rated Wildpeaks hav3 survived some good rocky desert terrain

I’ve read many reviews and they are not unanimous in their decision but here is what I think the average are.
Rocks - KO2s have receive more favorable reviews
Sand - KO2s have receive more favorable reviews
Wet Rain - reviews are 50/50
Snow - Wildpeaks seem to have slightly more favorable reviews
Mud - Wildpeaks seem to have slightly more favorable reviews
Road- KO2s Everyone says KO2s are quieter.
Best bang for the buck. Wildpeaks This is pretty unanimous.
Bottom line is that both are excellent tires and the advantage that one tire has over the other I believe are minor ones. The way as I see it you can’t go wrong with either tires.
Wildpeak used to be the best bang for buck tire, but I've seen them cost just as much (or even more) than a KO2 these days.
Inflation is ruining everything!
