i don't know squat about rebuilding an engine, but I just replaced mine. went from 250k to 155k and it is running better than it has in a long time. engine cost $1000 delivered from a few hundred miles away and came out of a wrecked Taco.

good stuff, it's nice to have options. FWIW, the PDF in the OP is text searchable, which can be convenient too.

Found a cheap 2005 4th gen with a V8, but 200K. I was never a huge fan of this body style, ground clearance in the front looks pretty terrible. better times ... :pout:
