    Power steering line help

Thanks guys. Yeah I was able to break it free once I realized there was the nut on top of the union. Not great access in there tho, that's for sure. I called around some parts stores but no one could cross reference the Toyota part. So that led me to go to the dealer for part #44327-26020. It is...

    Power steering line help

Hey all. Im looking for a little help. I'm replacing my steering rack and lines. I can not get the banjo bolt to come out of the pump for the line. The whole banjo joint with sensor are spinning as a whole. I also dont have a new crush washer to put in place if I can get the old lines off. Is...

    Wimpy Horn!

Thanks gamefreakgc, I just swapped out my stock horns for the PIAA's. So much better sounding over the stock beepers! For just over $40 shipped to the door, I wish this had been done long ago. I don't use my horns often mostly because I just go with the flow on the road. But when I did use...

Golden Age of 3rd Gens Ending

Good thread topic Jerod. I'm close to you as I live in Rancho Cordova now and can vouch that I see more and more with some catastrophic failure (I'm sure we are looking at the same posts for Sacramento). I drive 12 miles to work and 12 miles home. Everyday I'm guaranteed to see a minimum of 4...

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

New air filter and spark plugs. Not too exciting, but I did save like $90 on a pair of Napa 7 ton jack stands! Also ordered new intake tubing between intake box and throttle body (both needed replacement), new clamps for intake tubing, fuel filler cap and fuel filter.

Whiteline Panhard Bar Poly Bushings - PLEASED!

Looks like I will have to add these to the list. I recently replaced both upper and lower rear control arm bushings with the Whitelines. A press was incredibly helpful in the removal of the original bushings. I also did rear sway bar and end link bushings as well. I have a set of 4R specific...

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Not today, but a few days ago I ordered a full set of Weathertech floor mats. Front, back, and cargo. Can't wait for them to get here, so I can have a full interior detail done including washing the headliner and carpets. Today I replaced the rear lower control arm bushings with the Whiteline...

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Camelback Toyota is where I got mine p/n: 5890535070E0 $56 - it's called (Lid Assembly) I believe it's a vinyl material and NOT leather. It also doesn't have the "piping". Didn't matter, as it looks so much better.

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Brand new OEM Toyota center console armrest installed. I thought of looking through the scrap yards but thought, nah might as well get a new one. It sure is nice to get rid of the old cracked up/dirty one. It's not quite the same look as the original, but that's ok! I read somewhere that the...

Problem: Minimal droop on front suspension for new bumstop install

Sorry, no pics. I finished the install without taking any. If anyone has watched Timmy's video on this install, just imagine having only about half the space he did to do the install. I did have the endlinks disconnected to swap out all the bushings, and that didn't net me anymore space..

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Added a touch of oil (leaking vc's, on my list of repairs) Topped off coolant reservoir (recent cooling system overhaul, new: tstat, radiator, upper and lower radiator hoses and fan clutch, along with full flush) Replaced front wiper blades (need new rear window blade soon though) Replaced...

I made some rear bump stops. what do you think?

Thanks for the replies. I did not remove anything else during the install as I didn't see it necessary from the directions that came with the Bumpstops, or through Timmy's video. Everything is stock suspension currently. I have just about everything I need though for a complete overhaul/mild...
