    Info about a winch mount/Winch

Don't know if the bumper will fit but you might consider buying it for the winch then selling the bumper and getting your money back to use for a proper fitting bumper if that doesn't fit.

    Rear locker install 80-90% done.

Skrimz, I installed a front/rear ARB setup on my former '70 Bronco. If you want to bring it by the house on a weekend, I should be able to help to finish the wiring up. I live between Parker and Franktown off of Parker Rd.

    So i bought another one....

Very cool = = Congrats! I rode in a new D110 which were imported (500 only) in 1991 or 2 that the LR dealer had. Also rode in an old warrior like yours on a hunting trip on a game ranch. The epitome of a safari vehicle.

    My Build Thread for "Imogene"

Nice build 'Throttle! We must have a cosmic connection. I sold my Valk to buy my '00 Sport. Sad to see it go but my arthritis has gotten too bad to comfortably ride anymore. Here she is right after I bought her.

    opinion on 1997 VS 1999 T4R

+1 I had a '96 Limited and now have a '00 SR5 Sport. The interior is much nicer in the '00.

Preparing my 'new' 2000 4Runner for a road trip

Daz, if you get a new radiator, you have averted the strawberry milkshake for at least 75K miles. The cooler would help keep the trans healthy towing the trailer though. Also, it would be smart to change the oil about halfway through your trip. Good luck and have fun!

How to: Installing 3rd gen spark plugs

I have changed many plugs on many different engines over the last 50 yrs but it is always nice to know what it takes to do it on a modern smog engine. Nice writeup.

285s With Stock Suspension and a 1" Body Lift

Running questionable treads in the winter is bad news waiting to happen. When you slide through an intersection when a red light nails you, you will appreciate the term "pucker factor". Another option is to find a used set of tires on CL. I just sold a set of Hankook 265s for $175 with about...

    Front locker options for mud

I think for your purpose, the TruTrac would be the best option all around. It would work great in mud and snow. If you can pull/install the diff yourself, you can get the gears set up professionally and save a bundle.

    Crummy brake pedal feel question

My daughter's '96 had the infamous brake shudder so I replaced the calipers, rotors, and pads and I had a warped rotor right out of the box, new. This was before I knew about the poor design of 4Runner's front brakes. One of the reasons that I sold that vehicle.
