All things being equal, I'd go for real cup holders

Yep, amazing how the straws get in the way for us 5speed guys with the center cups. I like having the option of in dash or center cup holders. I even find myself using all four at the same time. It can be a fun install also. Still need to do the over head console mod. Just don't know how to mount the mirror.

definitely go for the 99. 99 came out with all the mid-gen upgrades. clear glass headlights that wont turn yellow or foggy. better cup holders. bigger rear storage compartment...so on. and im pretty sure 99's sit the highest from the factory.

i had a 96. i now have a 99. wouldnt ever go back

but thats all just my $0.02

I had a '96 Limited and now have a '00 SR5 Sport. The interior is much nicer in the '00.

well Thank You everyone for your opinions but...I got the Ok to buy from an owner rather then a dealer AND.... found a 2002 sr5 4x4 AWD v6 for $7600 and looking at the pictures it looks GREAT and cant wait to see it in person to make sure its the real deal...Hopefully i can talk the price down though

Where are you located? Those prices are not bad, but they also are not once in a life time deals.

id go with the 4wd hands down, 2wd would be a deal breaker
