Free: used 3rd-gen ICON 2.0 VS Series Rear Shocks + rear springs, SF Bay Area

SHOCKS ARE GONE! FREE 3rd-gen ICON 2.0 VS rear shocks, used for ~20,000 miles. They're definitely used used but could be used more. The shocks have some chips at the bottom of the shaft due to the lack of protectors and the inverted design. However, 99% of 3rd gens won't have enough bump...

**Rear Coil Spring Discussion - The Perfect 3rd Gen Rear Spring**

Here's a picture. This is with Superflex + trimmed OEM top cones. The rear bumper is a 4XI with a swing-out 34" tire and a full jerry can, so fairly heavy. Hub-to-fender distance is 23.75". Even with the bumper setup, I imagine I'm still short of the 1000lb total load on each spring.

Free 96-98 headlamps, SF Bay Area

GONE! Nothing wrong with them, just a little old. I replaced them with the clear-lens style from an 02 4Runner. Free pickup, or pay shipping and I'll ship them anywhere CONUS. If you want just one, I'll happily send you one. Doesn't include black back brackets or hardware, but they'd be good...

34x10.5R17 KO2s: tall tires, minimal work

This photo makes it really easy to see the tire profile on the vehicle :)

34x10.5R17 KO2s: tall tires, minimal work

One more con: they (obviously) won't fit the stock spare area.

34x10.5R17 KO2s: tall tires, minimal work

I think these are a nice option for people looking to get a large tire on a 4Runner without cutting or body lifts, and I wanted to give my review. I picked up a set of these to replace some 285/75R16 Milestar Patagonia MTs. They measure out at 0.6" taller on my 4Runner. No, they do not measure...

**Rear Coil Spring Discussion - The Perfect 3rd Gen Rear Spring**

I've had about 6 different rear spring pairs in my 4Runner, with many more sub-combos of packers and air bags. I have both high and variable weight in the back, since I have a 4XI swingout bumper and tow a light car trailer from time to time. I ended up with the Superflex coils, simply because...

    SPC UCA Alignment Sheets

How much lift do you have in the front? Higher lift makes it harder to avoid positive camber. Your eccentric and UBJ positions look reasonable. If you're lifted way more than average, you might have to put both LCA eccentrics out to get proper camber. This would obviously not be ideal, since it...

Almost heartbroken nobody is interested in my 4Runner...

Not what you want to hear, but I bought my manual, 4x4, V6, lifetime CA car '97 with 347,000mi for $1000. It dropped down to that price on CL for the same reason everyone is quoting: people are scared to buy a car with that many miles.

Brakes locking up (No axle leak)

Do you have an early 3rd gen with no ABS? Could be a messed-up LSPV causing excessive rear bias.
