Yeah I was debating just forking up and getting a traditional winch but my wife refuses (I know i shouldn't even be asking haha) but since its my everyday car the portable/hand winch might better suit my need?

Thanks for the suggestion, Have you had any experience with something like the second option? I'm assuming you just bolt on the mount then bolt on the winch when you need it

Update : Painted my TRD Skid plate I ended up painting my TRD Skid plate black with the red "TRD" . I opted to do this vs getting a vinyl stickers because of longevity plus it was something to do. I matched the black and red to the rim colors so it would match. Next up roof rack

Bump, not sure if someone answered this or not, but I was also wondering about the new TRD Pro wheels? Are they 16's now with a lower offset? It seems like they look different but that could be my tired ol' eyes.

Thanks!! Yeah I replaced the shocks and springs, it came in a set. It's a very smooth ride so far. I didn't have any trouble or at least the shop didn't bring up any issue when they put on the 285s for me. Hope this helps!

Thanks!! I used plastic dip anthracite gray to match the "Toyota" gray in the front. It turned out awesome!

Yeah I had to cut the Skid plate to fit. I used one of the guides on the forum on where to cut. I used a dremel and it was pretty easy.

Chiming In I'll chime in because I was in the exact same situation. The TRD Pros in SoCal were being marked up like crazy and I knew I was gonna add some stuff to the 4runner anyways so I ended up opting for the TRD ORP with KDSS because I drove both and the KDSS was the turning point for me...
