Sorry So late. It was not on the repair invoice. Just stated new seat rails installed.

I'll check the warrantee slip and check if it has the kit number. But it won't be for 2 or 3 days as I'm getting ARB lockers installed and that's if I remember. So reply to this thread in 3 days and I'll get a email and which should remind me to check for you.

2007 and it was covered because I had complained for close to the 3 year period. It would have been covered out of warrantee anyway because the 1st time they tried to fix it it was under warrantee. hoggy

I'm just thankful they fixed my within acceptable standards. I was going nuts every time I heard it to the point of actually listening for it. You're lucky in the way you can ignore it. I just could not.

Have no big plans to beat my 4runner offroad. It's matter of if I need it just once will it be worth it. Think you just answered that for me. Thanks for your answers guys. This will in all probability be my last vehicle as I'm retired and don't drive much but when I do drive I like to go to out...

Sorry I do not. This is what my dealer told me. All I can say is the seat does not wiggle or make any poping noises like it used to. I am happy now. My 4rinner did this since day one and it took them over a year to finally fix it. They tried a couple of times before even a factory rep came out...

Well they finally fixed my seat. They did not replace the whole seat but Toyota has had so many complaint they have now a frame rail kit out. That fixed my set and I'm happy now. For how long it holds up I don't know. hog

They told me mine was normal wear and tear. I'll be *****ing to them again fairly soon. But if these seats just start making nosie again after a couple thousand miles than what's the use in swaping them out? My service manager said it cost around $5k to swap them out so i wonder how long Toyota...

I think part of the noise is coming from the internal heating pad that seems to rub the leather from inside the seat. I could push on the seat where the pad is and hear a squeaking sort of sound. Of course that's not all the noise. There's the other pops and clicks etc. Also the seat on the...

Well today I stopped by the dealer and complained about the seat noise. I have an appointment Monday to have it throughly checked out. So at leat I have the ball rolling. The noises were especially loud today as the temp warmed up which prompted me to go in. It was starting to - - - - me off...
