my 00 4runner does the same...the defogger fuse 15a keeps blowing out everytime i replace it and turn on the switch. I checked every wire from the rear hatch to behind the dash console no fray at all. I was thinking its the switch but not sure. All of this started happening after i disconnected...

^^^Wow! thats crazy... I'm tempted to go without the rear defogger....i'll check the connectors this weekend. I assume its behind the tailgate panel?

00 4runner 4x4 3.4L I'm new to this forum, I have a issue with the 15a fuse which is the rear window defogger...it keeps blowing out everytime i put in a new one in, only when i activate the defogger. Any ideas? I know i have a short somewhere just needing ideas from others. Thanks.
