Don't worry about the VSC traction control light. Once you have fixed the CAT code all them light will go away. This is why I said I hate Japanese software logic, they don't know what the Hell they are doing.

How many miles do you have on your car? The code is not necessary means your CAT is bad, but could be O2 sensor. If you have some type of code reader can read live data you can find out which O2 is bad. I hate Japanese software logic. A bad O2 should have nothing to do with VSC, traction control.
