Sounds like I should pass on the 05 hood. Anyone know a good source for a 2006 hood w/scoop (besides craigslist and car-part.com)?

I've been looking for a 2006 hood w/ scoop to put on my 2006 Limited for a long time with zero luck. I just found a 2005 hood w/ scoop but can't find whether it will work on my 2006 or not.

Any news on this? I need my steering controls back, in a bad way.

Slow your roll there, chief. I didn't ask about it because it wasn't an issue until about an hour ago when I tried to run a power cable. I know how to search just fine. I didn't ask you or anyone else here about running the power cable, so don't lecture me about the search feature.

Thanks, but it's double DIN and I think I have to remove the whole dash anyway, I can't see where to run the amp power cable from the battery through the firewall with the dash on.

It's an aftermarket Kenwood HU, not sure if that makes a difference...

I need to run RCA cables and a remote turn on wire to the rear of my head unit. What's the easiest way? I have the link to remove the entire dashboard, but I was hoping there might be an easier way, maybe by just removing the a/c control panel or something?

One place told me at least $500. The other told me it would be cheaper to buy a new after market unit, amp, speakers, sub and get those installed. This came after I told them I was trying to put a Toyota JBL NAV unit in a non-JBL 4runner.
