So I just poked around down there and didnt see anything unusual. Its pretty strange, Im going to try and contact the original owner and see what he says.

Thanks guys, I have poked around a bit and cant tell what it is. It almost looks like part around the led was ripped off. Oh well, she runs and drives great so hopefully nothing will come of it. Maybe Ill see something when I install my new Automatic OBD2 sensor tonight.

Hey all, I just bought a 2006 4runner SR5 2wd and it's fantastic. Can't wait to read all about new things to try with it. Paid 14,200 74000 miles and not a scratch on it!
