    Anyone else have this problem?

I hope you get the price you want for your parts. CL can be a pain in the backside unless you figure out how to sell your items. I have had pretty good luck selling things on CL. I always put a higher price on the for sale item and if the buyer wants to dicker you just lower the price to what...

    Looking for new floor mats

I bought Weathertech's for our T4R, and wish I had read this post before I got them. Oh well, Dumb too early, Smart too late.:sad:

    Level of Education?

Never went to college but did graduate trade school. Was a lineman in the Seabees in Nam. Went to trade school after I got out of the Navy and became a journeyman lineman. I then went on to a multi craft maintenance system where the company I worked for would provide all the training you could...

Rounded Sway bar bushing bolts, tips on removing

Narat you are a person after my own heart. If you don't get it, drink a beer and think about it. If you do get it, drink a lot more beer and forget about it. All kidding aside, welding a nut on would work the best but due to a rubber bushing that would cause a lot of grief. I use a...

    Squealing brakes

I have a question for all of you that have had a T4R for a long time. Ours is new this year and only has 3500 miles on it. When I first start it and drive a short distance the brakes really squeal when I come to a stop. Never had this on any of our other cars. Is this just a product of the brake...

Winter Tires VS All Season AT's

We live in northern Michigan and as you all know we get winter here big time. All I have is good all season tires and have never had an issue with getting stuck. That being said, you do need good side clearing grooves in your tires so slush, water can be expelled easily. This will be our first...

    Wiper well cover?

I didn't want to hijack Seasparrows car cover thread so I'll start one of my own. We live in northern lower Michigan, and it is heavy woods. Our yard has very tall pines, Maples, Oaks, and Poplars. Autumn is now here and the leaves and needles are falling and all over the place. This year we...

    Anyone else a detectorist

Hi all. I have been using a metal detector since 1987 and have had a ball. Using a detector is like Forest Gump said best, "Like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get." I love the thrill of the hunt. Nothing gets your blood pumping like digging a hole and seeing the glint of an...

    Anyone painted wheels?

First off I am no paint expert at all, but when I built my own sea kayak I used Interlux Brightsides polyurethane hull paint. It is really durable and being as it is a watercraft paint, it is water and chemical resistant. Never had an issue with it flaking off. Just a suggestion.

    Favorite Soap

I use the pink Meguirs wash and wax. Does a good job cleaning and don't seem to leave any residue. Smells good too.

    Aluminum rim care advice

Thank you very much. I'm gonna try the Marine polish and then the bonding agent as well.

    Finally made my sleeping platform!

Now that is awesome. As a sea kayaker/camper I do appreciate the need for utilizing space for gear(2 seven day trips to Isle Royale) and you my friend have done that. Well done. I want to see any upgrades you may come up with too.:trophy::banana:

    Aluminum rim care advice

Ok I live in northern Michigan, the land of salty roads. Last three vehicles we have had, all had aluminum rims. Try as I might I just couldn't keep them from corroding. Fact of life I guess. That being said, I really would like to keep the rims on our new T4R looking nice for more than two...
