I'm having trouble finding any info on lowering 4th Gen 4Runners. I'm not talking to the ground, but, say, dropping the rearend a 2-3 inches and the front 1-2 inches...or something like that. What's the word? Thanks.

Click this for the "FJ Runner" article. As for the Toyota Fortuner...that doesn't look too far off what I'd expect it the 5th Gen 4Runner to look like (somewhere between the 08 Highlanders and Sequoias). We'll see I guess.
