    Ultimate Scion Headunit (stereo) thread

Just purchased a 546-00160 head unit. Getting pretty hyped for the install. Thanks for all of those that posted their experiences and knowledge. With out that there is no way I would attempt to install this. Oh its going into a 05 SE with JBL. Stay tuned for questions - wish me luck!

Lift and Tire Central (pics)... Post 'em Up!

To be honest, the tire came with the suv when I bought it, so not sure where exactly the original owner purchased the tire from, but there was some substantial trimming that I had to do to prevent any rubbing.

I trimmed out the front wheel well and removed the mud flaps, there is still a slight rub, (and by slight i mean really slight that its not worth me trimming more) when it is at full flex and turning left. happens inside the passenger wheel well and ya, its pretty minimal.

    V8 4th gen vs. supercharged 3rd gen

I lived in Kelowna BC and frequented the mountains with my 99 tacoma (3.4 v6). Towing a small aluminum boat and a weeks worth of camping gear, I would notice the "sluggish" feeling that the 3.4 can produce. I have since then purchased a 2005 4runner V6 and I am pleasantly surprised with its...

Lift and Tire Central (pics)... Post 'em Up!

Here is my 2005 sitting on 285/75/17 Dick Cepek FC2's. It has a Cornfed 3/2 spacer lift. I nearly purchased an Icon setup tonight, but I decided to take my time and go about it right with a diff drop and maybe some bump stops. But man oh man do I ever want to give this ride a proper lift.

Oil pan heater - for us "northerners"

Very interesting, worth looking into as well, I think Im going to go for it. I'll splice the line into the cord for the block heater as it would be plugged into the same outlet as it were. Hopefully this makes a difference! And cheers for the help Alex!

Oil pan heater - for us "northerners"

Living in Alberta Canada its not uncommon to get temps as low as or lower then -40C (thats -40F too), so I was wondering if anyone had experience with adding on an additional oil pan heater for these cold temps. I'm thinking this would help with starting and help with the time it takes for the...
