I'm nothing but stock as of now, but oh man, when i'm done with this loan i already have a list of shit waiting to be bought and installed!
Here is my 2005 sitting on 285/75/17 Dick Cepek FC2's. It has a Cornfed 3/2 spacer lift. I nearly purchased an Icon setup tonight, but I decided to take my time and go about it right with a diff drop and maybe some bump stops. But man oh man do I ever want to give this ride a proper lift.

Hows the clearance and fender height of your current setup? Any rubbing still and how much trimming did you have to do to run the 285/75/17?

I trimmed out the front wheel well and removed the mud flaps, there is still a slight rub, (and by slight i mean really slight that its not worth me trimming more) when it is at full flex and turning left. happens inside the passenger wheel well and ya, its pretty minimal.
Is the 285-75-17 a new size? I thought they only made a 285-70-17?
That's a 34" tire, I would have expected you to have more rubbing with just a 3" lift.
To be honest, the tire came with the suv when I bought it, so not sure where exactly the original owner purchased the tire from, but there was some substantial trimming that I had to do to prevent any rubbing.
it is just kinda weird. The only tire that i was easily able to be found in that size was the BFG KM2, I couldn't find any others.
Can you post a pic of the trimming completed to fit that size?
Thats what had to be taken out, a bit much but it made a big difference.

Got some new tires mounted this past week. Wanted to make sure to post for anyone looking for additional pics of a non-lifted 4th gen with 265/70R17 tires. These are General Grabber AT2's. We had an ice storm the day after I got them installed and it's still not been warm enough to thaw everything off...haven't had the tires long enough to really comment on them.
