hi, I can get a good deal on '06 Tundra front shock/spring combo. 48510-AF120. I currently have a '99 Limited. Will the Tundra combo give me a 2.5" lift (per FAQ) over my current '99 springs? How's it going to ride with the Tundra shock? Thanks!

plenty of tundras came with 16" wheels. i think with the 17" you should be totally in the clear. there's no way the offset is that much different than the 16's, if at all...

No it isn't... You can access all three solenoids by just dropping the filter. Here's an image i stole from the internets and circled solenoid e, and put arrows to the other two solenoids...

negative - removing the filter gave me plenty of direct access to the solenoid.

electrical connection on the outside of the tranny seems fine - i disconnected the plug and everything seemed nice and clean. no obvious damage to the wiring. checked OHM resistance on all 3 terminals and everything spec'd out. TPS seems fine - i popped the code for a bad TPS about a year ago...

hi there, i posted to yotatech about a month ago and got no replies, so i guess i'll try here... '99 4Runner, 3.4, 4x4, automatic (A340F), 234k miles. 4Runner runs well, and has for the last year that i've owned it. Starting about 3 months ago, as soon as i just hit a steady flat cruise...

looking for some used 231mm calipers. i just bought some from eBay, and the place sent some 199mm instead. they got returned. i already have a rebuild kit and pads - now i need some calipers to clean and rebuild. paypal ready... thanks.
