Hey guys. Long time that I don't post but I can't find anything by searching.
So after replacing my steering rack with a brand new OEM unit, 2 different shops can't get my alignment right. They say it's 'aligned' and as close as they can get it with the lift but now it has a pretty hard pull...
I just pulled out the passenger side and slid it into the side i'm working on and it works just fine.
I took the one I was working on and put it into the passenger side and it is not going in again.
At this point I'm thinking the shop dropped the shaft or hit it on the floor and mushroomed...
So I did the driver side rear wheel bearing in my truck today. I jacked up one side, removed the axle shaft and took it to the machine shop to get pressed. Everything was going smooth.
Now when trying to reinstall it, I can get it in all the way except for about 1/2 of an inch. I can get to...

yeah i'll do 85 for the rack. It was good - no play when I pulled it. Not sure how much shipping would be but if you want I'll calculate that for you.
