I've been looking for a 4th gen since March and still haven't found a great deal yet, but I did find an "acceptable" deal on a 2005 Sport v8 4x4, but I noticed it doesn't have H2 setting on the 4wd switch so I searched around here on the forums and discovered the V8's are some type of full-time...

It does have the Toyota on the corner and I think the paint is ok underneath so hopefully it will unbolt and come off clean.

Those of you with leather in sports, are your doors also leather matching the seats or are they the cloth-like stuff normally in the sports?

I think it's a cheap aftermarket also; I still haven't actually taken delivery of this 4runner yet. (not only because of the cheap deflector)

New here, I've been driving Toyota's for a long time (Camry, Tacoma, Tundra), but I'm getting ready to purchase an '05 4Runner Sport and this site has been a big help already in determining mods I would like to perform such as info on adding the homelink overhead console, '06 headlights, etc...

Hey guys, I'm looking at buying an '05 Sport, but the original owner has a front bug deflector installed on the hood. I've never personally been a fan of those so I plan to remove it asap, but I am worried that the paint beneath it will be damaged and/or scratched badly since it has been on...

^anyone have a pic of what the gap looks like? Is the trim piece included with the headlight or is it something you have to source separately?
