Wireless CarPlay connectivity I actually had the same problem but it seemed to be more of a iPhone lagging update. I cleared it out of CarPlay completely and then reconnected and remembered and it seemed fine. Many times it’s connected before I get in the car.

I did initially but then installed the painless fuse block cause electrical issues scare the crap out of me. Now I just run the stuff to the engine bay for the most part.

I think the early dot ones are older and now the newer ones are the tube to make it preserve the continuity. I like the switch back idea where it will alternate based on whether the turn signal is lit or not. There's countless 4runners out there just another way to make yours your own.

Headunit I totally agree, entune is a horrible system. More than anything I want to have carplay through Apple so I can actually use the navigation system to you know, navigate... Also having the entune voice system is horrible compared to Apple. Probably the reason toyota is finally start...

I have! I didn't need to use any of the mounts. I'm 5'10 though so take that into consideration as well. The navdy also has a setting to make the image smaller so that can also help, though I didn't need it. I'll take a pic from my vantage point tomorrow and post it.

Not fitting flush I can tell by some of the pictures that the Morimoto's don't fit flush (see pic) as the stock ones do. Has anyone figured out a way to install it better? also if not has anyone encountered any issues from water seepage due to that gap there?
