Anyone using the Dasaita head unit?

Hopefully someone can help with my Dasaita issues...

I installed my Dasaita HU yesterday and these are the issues I'm having:

1. The ZLink very rarely connects immediately. Usually it's stuck on "waiting" no matter how many times i disconnect and reconnect bluetooth/wifi.

2. My backup camera stays on after going from reverse to park and only goes away when in drive. My backup taillights also stay on after putting the car into park which makes me believe some wires might've gotten messed up with the install..

3. My CEL and TRAC OFF lights are on. I disconnected and reconnected the battery but lights are still on.

Wireless CarPlay connectivity

I actually had the same problem but it seemed to be more of a iPhone lagging update. I cleared it out of CarPlay completely and then reconnected and remembered and it seemed fine. Many times it’s connected before I get in the car.

Just went through the same dilemma and ended up buying a T10 instead. Should be here in a week or two, fingers crossed.

Just installed my T10 the other day. Had a 2 day road trip with no issues yet. Install was pretty easy. I bought it to have an updated unit and have a better Bluetooth/Android Auto set up. I doubt I'll use it for any of its other features. Looks sharp!

The functionality of the Halo is amazing, but I dislike the blocking of the front vents as well as seemingly having an iPad sticking out of my dash.

I love when people say that the Halo blocks the front vents lol

How is the T10 holding up?

I had a T9 and T10…sent both back. T9 was not usable trying to make calls while connected to CarPlay. Didn’t really want a big external mic stuck to my ceiling either. Ordered a T10 hoping it was better and it was not.

Also, on the T10 they removed all the RCA outputs for an external amp….basically only FL/FR. So I am looking at a Dasaita which has these connectors and have been measured at 3V+ output. Hoping the internal mic over CarPlay is usable.

My T10 came with harness and RCA outputs, also has a great internal mic for CarPlay. Maybe they sent you an incomplete harness kit?

No issues with the included mic over CarPlay. I do have an older Dasaita unit.

That looks pretty good! I see they had 2 options for the trim. Is the dark option match the trim you removed well?

T10 dark trim is a Matt finish where the OEM bezel is glossy. I think it looks OK though. Assume the Dasaita is similar.

It is. Matches the black matte finish around the climate controls and cubbies. Get use to it and don’t mind anymore. Probably wrap if you want to match.

Just installed this today. After working out a few issues, it is working great. The difference in sound quality is immediately noticeable. Very easy to install. I installed all of the harnesses to the Daisata head unit first. It made the installation take about 15 minutes.

would search FB market or secondary markets ,I've come across a few T10s from 200-400 range. I ended up buying a sony 8100 Trail grid pro bundle. Wife isnt a fan of it and prefers more of a stock look.

Forgot which cable is for GPS antenna. No problems with the head unit.
I also wired a direct mirror plug and play for my iPhone if you want to know the cables.
