I am looking for a 3rd gen (preferably 1998) 4Runner, and I am wondering how much life I can expect out of these beasts. Would a truck with 140,000 miles that has been very well maintained (timing belt done) last well past 200,000 miles? Is this the norm? Also, when buying a used 4Runner...

Hello all, I am interested in purchasing a great 4Runner for myself. I am looking at the newer 4th gen body style, but prices on those are pretty high (I'd prefer a nice 2003/04). Looking for a V6 there, with 4x4 and a manual transmission. But.. a nice 2000-2002 (with light modifications)...
