wierd, I did put in a K&N filter that I got used on ebay and the filter was oily but not too much... the car ran fine for like 50-60 miles before it broke down today.
I think you are right!
I will clean the the MAF and throttle body tomorrow and inspect everything for dirt/oil hopefully that...
So I was able to drive the car home!
I went back there today, cleaned the MAF sensor but the car was actuing up again...(CEL came ON) I was like WTF and decided to disconnect and reconnect the battery to reset everything... that worked!(CEL went away)
The car got me home (24mile trip) without...
Im writing this thread from a bar I found next to where my 4runner kinda broke down...
It's was running just fine this morning but when I tried to start it 10 mins ago it would start without problems, but it will idle really low at like ~500rpm
When I press on the accelerator pedal it won't rev...
oh wow!
that does help alot!
thank you so much!
Fortunatelly for me the road is almost completly flat for 90-95% of the trip!
I guess today im going to replace my brake pads :P
so it seems like i have to take the "risk" and tow the honda on flatbed..
with the temperaturs being in the 50s should be even better for the tranny to stay cool...
im definitely going to consider a tranny cooler in the near future...
How about if just get one of those car dollys and tow the car?
That way only two wheels will be on the dolly and the other two will be rolling on the ground?
Would my 4runner be able to do that?
I might be going to LA to pick up an s2000, my friend has a trailer he will let me borrow...
the s2000 weights about 2800lbs... im not sure about the trailer though...
its going to be a 600 miles round trip..
I have 2000 4runner 2x4 with 122k miles... the truck runs really good but i wanna...
so i've been messing with photoshop to come up with an custom grille similar to the FJ
which one do you like best, or neither?
let me know what you think?
also ideas are always appreciated !
