Would you be willing me to send me the 3rd gen frame drawing you have? Im trying to make a custom 4 link for my 4runner and a cad model would really help.
You might want to consider parting it out yourself if you have the tools, time and space. With the amount of parts that will most likely be junk do to age and rust, that will be your best bet to get the most out of it. Best of luck
97 4x4 manual V6
The fuel sending unit connector has five pins
what are the wires coming out the back of it and what do they do?
P1 ________ (Black/Red)
P2 ________ (Yellow/Red)
P3 ________ (Brown)
P4: Fuel Pump Power (Blue/Orange)
P5: Fuel Pump Ground (White/Black)
I know they have to do...
Id do the 4 banger and pay someone to do the 6 banger assuming you know that this has to be done (you are getting a slight tick) If you can, wait until you need to do valve covers so you can do that as well
If the guy has been in business for at least 10 years (you dont get the feeling that he isnt going anywhere anytime soon) and you plan on keeping the vehicle for awhile then it seems worth it. The up front price seems a little high though
The main issue with 37s is that you lose a lot of up travel in your suspension when it cycles. If you are ok with that then extend the bump stops and send it. you will still probably rub but thats ok if you are ok with it
