    05 4Runner Steering Problem

Hi, Gargan333 I had the exact same problem the last weeks. It's a rusty u-joint (probably not the proper name for it..??) Look up from underneath. Follow the steering column coming down from the steering wheel - then there is a U-joint . because steering column is changing the angle. You have...

    rotate tires

I have thought my wheel bearings had gone bad due to some noise with every rotation - turned out a tire rotation fixed it. It sure is a simple way of maintaining your runner.

    Cracked Firestone Air Ride Bag

I always left a minimum of 5 psi in the bags as stated in their documents. In fact I still have the 5 psi on the right side now - that's why my runner sits 3/4" higher on the right...I thought about taking the air out to make it even, but decided not to. I guess it's the cold winter that cracked...

    Cracked Firestone Air Ride Bag

So I've been using these Spring Air Bags from Firestone for just one year and over the winter one of them has crack right across the bottom. I'm not using a compressor. Just pumping it up if I'm using the trailers. I called up Firestone and they are sending me one right away - no questions...

    Longer rear mud flaps

I used one of the original screws - meaning it goes through the new one, the original one and into the bumper. The other 4 are stainless steel 1/4 inch pan head machine screws with the acorn nuts in the back. These are just through the original and the new one. I'm quite sure it will hold up to...

    Longer rear mud flaps

Solved Here it is. Thanks to 4RNNR for pointing out the Husky's Universal fit.!! I like how the project ended up. They are now almost 5" longer going down. I still have more than 8" clearance from the ground. I'm hoping that will do a good job keeping my trailers and bikes a lot cleaner. I'm...

    Longer rear mud flaps

Lots of good input - thanks everybody. Right now I have the stock mud flaps. The Jao's Ive seen, but I think it's just a little bit overprices and I'm not crazy about the looks of them. I have some 1/4" black rubber sheets at my shop and I think I'll be putting that on right in front of the...

    Longer rear mud flaps

@ Jerrydog That's kinda what I'm thinking too. So far nothing has turned up that would fit. I think I will just be bolting or riveting something on. Cheers.

    Longer rear mud flaps

I've been looking for longer ones, but haven't found anything on the net. I contacted my local Toyota dealer and asked them if there is anything available, maybe one of a Tacoma would fit but I don't know yet..

    Longer rear mud flaps

Hi Fellows, I'm just wondering if anyone has ever put on longer mud flaps on the rear tires. Since I drive a lot on muddy - gravel roads it would help to keep the dirt off the motorcycle carrier and trailers I use often. I have the Toytec ultimate lift and 32" tires on the truck. I think 3 - 4"...

    TREVLOC's Thread

Good job on your mods! I have a question regarding your radio.. I recently installed the same head unit, but we couldn't figure out a way to get the mode button on the steering wheel to work. Does yours work?
