    ok thanks...i touqued it to 160...the max my wrench would go to..i actually left the duct cover off, installed the wheel, and lowred the truck, and then used the torque wrench... I wanted to have the dust cover installed, but was under the impression that once the bearing is pressed on you...

    AM update....got it all put back togther last night....runs nice...no helicopter humm...not a hard job at all...2 hrs max time invloved. Bad news was i dropped off the old bearing, hub and new bearing to the corner garage, who sayd they had done a million...but they forgot to put the dust cover...

    ok, an up date to this...the problem is getting worse by the week...so this is what i have done; 1-took it to the stealership-have them look at it and road test..put it on the lift..told me the bearings were fine...might be in the begining stages of going bad, but not enough to warrent...

    I just did both of my cv shafts this week...It started out with just buying OEM replacment boot reduild kits from toyota...$35.00 plus my local shop to install..he said about $300 labor for both sides..it calls for about 2.5 hrs per side to remove and re-install....when he took them out he said...
